Fresh challenge
The task is issued shortly before recording and expires quickly. It is not a reusable profile video.
INDEPENDENT HUMAN CHECK
Send a private seven-second camera challenge through any chat. They respond in their browser. You watch the actual video and decide for yourself.
A platform badge asks you to trust the platform. Probably Human lets you inspect the response.
WHY THIS IS DIFFERENT
Dating apps, social networks, marketplaces, and messaging services issue their own badges inside systems they control. Probably Human creates a separate check for one person and one conversation.
The task is issued shortly before recording and expires quickly. It is not a reusable profile video.
The recipient records in the browser. Gallery uploads are not accepted.
Face framing, movement, voice, and a random action are checked. You still watch the video yourself.
The request names the person, records capture details, and expires automatically.
WHERE A FRESH RESPONSE MATTERS
THE DEAD INTERNET PROBLEM
Photos can be stolen. Accounts can be automated, hacked, or operated by teams. Generated text and cloned voices can keep a convincing conversation going. Probably Human asks for something more specific: a fresh response to a request created for this conversation.
WHAT IT DOES NOT PROVE
A completed Human Check does not prove legal identity, age, ownership, employment, intentions, or safety. It reduces one uncertainty: whether a live response was captured for your request. Never send money or sensitive information based on this check alone.

No. The check opens in a supported mobile browser. Neither side needs an account.
Each response stays short, while the limited attempt history prevents a recipient from sending only one selected clip. It is a product format, not a guarantee of truth.
No. A live person can still lie, manipulate, scam, or misrepresent themselves.
Yes. The reviewer can start a return check, complete it, and send the other person a private review link.
No browser-only check can promise that. Fresh prompts, camera-only capture, framing checks, random actions, and human review make simple attacks harder.
The private review includes time, device timezone, IP address, browser headers, screen size, and camera settings. A VPN or proxy can affect network information.
